To the Industrial steam users, Steam is a utility and not a marketable product. The Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Fertilizers or even the Power Generation Industries use steam either in process or power generation. It has been observed that not enough attention is paid to the proper use of steam which results in lapses during operation and maintenance. This causes an accident/break-down or, at the very least, affects cost efficiency. Moreover, there is also a general lack of awareness about the statutory rules and regulations in the industry.

'India Boiler.Com', consisting of a growing number of professionals, is an attempt to change the above situation. It has been formed with the idea of sharing the expertise of highly experienced professionals from various boiler related industries.

The Aim:

To provide a common platform to the various industrial steam users to explore areas of mutual concern and build an on-line community of Users, Manufacturers, Representatives, Engineers and Operators of Industrial Steam Boilers.

The team:

This attempt was initiated by two young entrepreneurs from Gujarat who have extensive post qualification exposure and experience in Boiler repairing, IBR consultancy and other related activities. Experienced Professionals like Sri R. D. Vaishnav (former Director of Petrofils Co-Operative Ltd.), Mr. A. K. Gupta (Former Technical Advisor of L & T Energy Centre), Mr. T. S. Vaidyanathan (Former Dy. General Manager, BHEL)- to cite a few names - have kindly consented to give the benefit of their cumulative valuable experience and knowledge to make this team invaluable to the boiler industry. Today this team is ever expanding as more and more like minded professionals join them with the aim of the betterment of the industry.

A panel comprising of highly experienced and technically expert professionals drawn from different boiler related fields will provide the industry with specialised knowledge and practical advice on all aspects of steam raising from industrial boilers.
