TRAINING COURSE AVAILABLE FOR

BOE CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION

We are conducting a special Training Course for BOE Certificate Examination for Boiler Professionals.

There are three different courses available for:

1.      Those who are working in Gujarat (Starting on 18th December 2010)

2.      Those who are working in other states than Gujarat (Starting on 1st February 2011)

3.      On-Campus Training for group of engineers.

We have been conducting this course for last eight years in Gujarat with fantastic success rate in the 2nd class Boiler Proficiency Certificate Examination conducted by Gujarat IBR. Since last 5 years, we have been receiving numerous requests from professionals working outside of Gujarat state. Following a popular demand, this year we are also making this course available for professionals working in other states than Gujarat with a special format.

The course is beneficial not only to a prospective candidate for appearing for the Certificate examination but also serve the purpose of a Technical Refresher Course for practicing Boiler Engineers. Thus a person, who undergoes this course fully, shall be able to better manage and operate modern boilers.

Eligibility Criterion for 2nd class Proficiency

1. Preparatory Course for 2nd Class Boiler Proficiency Certificate Examination for Boiler Engineers working in Gujarat

Training format:

The course involves Five days of classroom training, which will be conducted over a period of two and half months. There will be a study period of minimum 15 to 20 days after each class room training date.

The first training day for this batch is scheduled on 18th December 2010. Subsequent training dates for that would be decided at end of the session on that day.

During the classroom training, following would be covered:

1.      All Mathematical Calculations related to

o        Basics of Mechanics (work, power, energy, pump related calculations etc)

o        Properties of Steam

o        Combustion Calculations

o        Simple Steam Engine Calculations

o        Condenser Calculations

o        Boiler Draft Calculations

o        Boiler Performance & Efficiency Calculations

o        Strength of Materials

2.      Boiler Water Chemistry

3.      Viva Preparation

Mathematics paper for the last four years would be solved through classroom exercise.

In addition to above, a study material will be provided to each candidate, which comprehensively covers Boiler Technology theory as well as the complete syllabus of Gujarat IBR. Chapters covered in the study material are given below.  Engineering Drawing is not included in the scope of training.

Personalized guidance and advanced training support through internet: We have an exclusive arrangement through which all the candidates can have a continuous access to our faculty through out the training period. For this, we have designed an exclusive section at our website. The interactive arrangement enables all the participants to clarify their doubts at any point of time till the examination. Faculties are available through out the training period to respond to the queries immediately. The participants can get access to various model questions, assignments, self assessment tools through this arrangement. On the basis of the day to day assessment and the result of the tests, each candidate will be guided to overcome their short -comings.
